I shall serve as an independent contractor and
not as an employee of the association. |

2.
I agree that any assignment is subject to
cancellation by the Assignor when, in his sole
judgment, deems such cancellation to be in the
best interest of the teams and the officials. |

3.
I hold Nebraska Umpires Association, its
Assignor, Board Members, and member institutions
harmless from any and all liability for injury
or damage sustained as a result of any
assignment. |

4.
In consideration of the games listed, I agree to
accept games offered in
Arbiter. |
|
5.
I agree to contact and confirm with the
respective home school for each game listed
above 3 days prior to date of game. |
|
6.
I agree to be at the game site no later than 1/2
hour before the scheduled game time. |
|
7. I understand that by accepting games assigned
by the Nebraska Umpires Association, I am
committed to working those games unless
cancelled by NUA or the host team. I further
understand that rescinding any such commitment
for the purpose of accepting games assigned by
another association or assignor is a breach of
professional ethics and may be cause for my
being disqualified from further participation in
NUA, including post-season assignments. |

8.
I agree that if I am not at the scheduled game
site by the scheduled game time, or do not
appear at all for a scheduled game; Nebraska
Umpires Association may rescind this agreement
and schedule other Umpires to work my remaining
scheduled games. |
